We made a blog. We're a small team building an iPhone app for collage and scrapbooking, and we wanted somewhere to write things that don't really fit in an app update or a social caption.
Here's who we make it for, and it might be you. You've made collages by hand before, or kept a scrapbook, or stuck photos and cut-outs into a journal. Now you'd like to do that on your phone and share it online, but you don't want to learn Photoshop or wade through Canva to get there. That's the whole point of Jodu. It's for people who are new to doing this on a screen and just want the cut-paper, handmade look without the hassle.

So that's mostly what this blog is about.
What we'll post
Probably three kinds of things:
- Real release notes. When we ship something, we'll say why we built it and what we decided to leave out, instead of just listing what changed.
- How-tos. Walkthroughs for making a specific thing in Jodu: an Instagram carousel, a mood board, a zine, a birthday card, collage art, or whatever trend's going around right now. The kind with steps you can actually follow.
- Behind the scenes. The geeky side of building the app. SwiftUI problems we ran into, how we do photo cut-outs right on your phone, and what's tricky about a canvas you can move things around on freely.
We're not promising a schedule. We'll post when we've got something worth saying.
